Also not trying to sound like a dick, but...a common misconception about our line of work is "dead end job" or "only bums with no skills need apply. The truth of the matter is you can make a career out of this while earning a decent wage. Yes you do have to bust your butt, though I find it rewarding to actually have control how far I can succeed in my line of work. A lot of you may be very suprised what someone can earn per year, especially as you climb the ladder at Les Schwab. I'll just say I should gross between $65-70k next year. Not too shabby for a young guy like me with no schooling. Do what works best for you, and school is a great option if thats for you. Just my 2 cents.95BLKGT5.0 said:I am not trying to be a dick but...... Just my 2 cents.![]()

There are grants you can get that will pay for all your classes as long as you work part time no more than 35 hrs a week.![]()
You could take the Ford program at Renton Tech or body and paint or there are tons of programs out there and some will find you a job.![]()
Don't be a slave all your life working min. wage jobs.
Go to school so you can get a good job and buy a BRAND NEW MUSTANG![]()
