All right guys, I have both of my mustangs torn down. I took the stock motor and trans from my LX and put it into my vert. I am then going to put my Dart 347 in to my LX. I bagged and tagged everything, and took a lot of pics to remeber where things went, but for the life of me I cant remember how the H--pipe hanger and trans mount were stacked on the cross member. Could some one please post a clear picture for me to work off of. Thanks in advance.

I cut those hangers off my h-pipe and use a piece of steel strip to support it. Not having those hangers makes it 1000 times easier to work with it.

Can you put up a pic of how you did that. I have an old h-pipe that does not have the hangers on it. I was going to sell it, but if you have a simple way of supporting it Ill give it a try.

I cut mine off with a 4 inch grinder. Just put the jack under it & get it where you want it before u tighten your header flange bolts and it will stay with no problems.

here's a pic, I went to ACE and got the cheap steel with holes in it and metric nuts that attach to the seat bolts that go through the floor. Ugly as hell but who's looking under the car anyways?

Thanks, that gives me some thing to work with now. I could still use a pic of the correct set up. I think I can use the strap for the LX, but would like to use the hanger for the vert. It is lowered about 1 1/2 inches and I need the clearence
