Need A New Headliner for 89 HB with F/Sunroof

Any recommendations on what to do with my sagging headliner? Repair with a kit or get a complete replacement?

Supplier recommendations? Do the ABS units look like the orginal? More concered about doing it right vs. going cheap. All the suppliers seem to have the same ABS bcked product.

If you meant what you said about doing it right rather than going cheap....replace it. I'm sure late model resto has a nice one. I have never purchased/installed one, but that is where I would start.

I just redid it myself

$7 for the Super 90 3M spray at home depot

$14 in fabric from a store

1 hour or so of work with a helper. Was very easy to do.

i also did mine on my fox and it was pretty easy.i bought headliner material which was readily available from jo anns fabrics(a chain store) 20.00 and i also bought the headliner glue there and it was about 10.00.it came out looking like new!

JoAnn's had HeadLiner Fabric?
Foam Backed?
Real Headliner fabric or just some sort of felt you used?
I was thinking of useing vinyl, but didnt get that far yet, the headliner is next on my list.
If they carry the real stuff, thats what i will be doing on my lunch hour tomarrow (have a joanns 2 doors down from work),
