i've got like 10 minutes to bid on this to win.
It's a tuner. It's got a 93 octane tune from an 04 GT on it.
I've got a 00 GT.. can i use the tune on this tuner? or do i have to download a tune for my 00GT from diablo?
Thanks!

i hope you got it cheap. i dont think anyone uses Diablo to tune anymore.

anyways if the processor code is the same it should work

I don't really care if anyone tunes with it or not, i only want it to correct the gear ratio for the 3:73s and to get the extra 5-10.

you mean the processor number on the cars ECU? They probably are diffrent..seeing as its 4 years apart.. i guess i'll find out soon.

it will work if you just wanna change the gear ratio.

just be careful making timing and fuel adjustments.

I'm not making any timing/fuel adjustments. I don't want to screw around with any of that unless i decide to get a cam or something, and then i'll get it done professionaly

All I just want is to install a standard 93 octane tune on it and adjust for the gears. you think i'll be fine with that?
Thanks

it should be fine.

sucks we cant use a simple gear to correct the speedo. dont feel bad. i have a tuner and my car still says i'm doing 105 when i'm running 140.

Timing/fuel adjustments is how you get a 93 octane tune.

tire size (28") and the autometer cluster is a little off itself

Yes, but thats a baseline tune. Pretty mild, probably 10HP or so. you start running into trouble when you start being a little more aggressive with the spark and fuel

SHOULD you end up selling yr Diablo on eBay & yr plans for yr car aren't more extensive than you say, a DM Speed Cal will take care of the speedo/ 3.73 gears issue.

Speed Calibrator - SpeedCal at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Then a Steeda Timing Adjuster will have you using hi-test. Both of these for not much more than you paid for the Diablo.

those look cool.. about 200 dollars for both. but i still wouldn't get the 15HP/tq.
I'm not too angry with this tuner, as long as it installs. some people pay like 400 dollars for these things, so if i pay 200 i'm happy

A Steeda Timing Adjuster bolts on & allows you to mechanically advance yr timing so you can burn 93. Gotta be some HP there.

Be verrry careful with that new tuner if you're practicing brain surgery w/o a license. It can turn your ride into a 3000 lb paperweight in a flash (pun intended).

Good luck.
