need blower info

I recentley purchased a 96 GT, BONE STOCK!!! auto. not the car of my dreams but for the lo lo price of $1600. I could not let it out of my sights. anyway I'm looking into blower kits and am considering changing to pi heads and intake. can i use a 99-04 cobra blower w/ the head and intake swap or what r my choices whith the stock heads and intake. I would like to go w/a screw drive set up but not opposed to a cintrig. set up

only 03-04 cobras have blowers from the factory.........and no you can not use them.

look at a mongoose kit from www.modularpowerhouse.com

n new centri will run about $3500 and a KB will be roughly $6000

I know the 03 04 were the only ones w/ stock blowers I was ?ing the kit fittmnt for my 96 GT if I were to do the swap, I have heard that a 99-04 blower kit would wrk w/ little or no mods

How do you pick up a '96 GT for 1600 bucks?

a 03-04 cobra blower WILL NOT WORK!!

you would have to swap to cobra heads, intake, timing stuff, heat exchanger etc.... you would have more in swapping the eaton on there than a KB would cost.

there is a reason that cobra owners are selling these blowers for under $500. if they would work on a GT everyone in the world would have swapped one on by now.


you can swap in an entire 03-04 cobra engine if you like. just make sure you grab the computer from the donor car
