so tittle says a lot....

just really need to know the performance differences and the problems associated with either.... with either do i need to change the manifold?? do i need fo do aything special?

performance (non exterior) are as follows-

4.10s..bbk intake. bbk pulleys.. b m shifter, springs, flomaster axleback.... ford racing stainless shorties and catted H going in soon.

need to know how noticable of a difference the t.b. will make.

after all this crap goes on the ecu will be flashed and dyno tuned. thanks.

try to get a new plenum too, they work together, if you just get one, its not really doing a whole lot for you.

but i would get a 75mm one. everything i've read shows that it may not help anymore than a 70mm on most applications, but it doesnt hurt it either, and leaves room to grow with more mods.

75mm and get a plenum too. No extra work will need to be done just unbolt the stock one and rebolt the new one should take less than an hour. I took me about 45 minutes and i know absolute dick about cars and only have a simple tool set.

I wore the dress and got the 70 just because....

No real power differences with basic mods between 70 and 75 and there is a tutorial on here on doing the mod if you use the search button.

well thanks guys. any special plenum thats recommended?i?? i will listen to th advice everyone is giving me and not wear a dress.....

not sure when the car will be blown. might be two years- might be next year. not sure. depends what project car my wife decides she wants (restore this cheap 68 cougar, partially done 66-68 stang) no sure.
found the 75mms for 129. polished ford racing unit. what is everyone pying for plenums? dont you just waste your money? arent most t.b.'s on suprchargers??? implaying the retard role today.

the acufab has been recorded as the most gains (by 2 hp, above the lowest), however it costs 100 more then its competitors. dragon is my choice, cheap and in the upper pack of gains. actually i got mine from stangpro, good price,

C&L makes a nice plenum, I've had mine on and off many times....
I have it matched to a ford racing 70mm........ 75mm may be overkill......

75MM TB is just as big as the opening on aftermarket plenums. In our cars they are bottlenecked anyways....you cant have enough air flow. In reality, you cant make the engine flow too much...whatever you do that increases air flow, will increase power with these 2Vs.

GO 75MM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went Accufab 75 mm + plenum from mustangtuning, and SCT xcal2 at the same time. Easy install for someone who has no clue and very noticible difference in the car. Exhaust sounds better, too.
Oh, and I wear a dress (occasionally) and didn't go with 70mm :D

Just put a new 75mm TB + plenum on last week. Got the professional products polish alluminum for $220 shipped. I ended up having to do a minor drill widening to fit the 2nd throttle cable on but it was pretty simple after that. Only problem is my strut tower brace doesn't fit n e more cuz the new intake sits higher:(

75mm is overkill?? how so? a lot of people say 4.10s are overkill but i think they are perfect..

and what strut brace wouldn t fit? my bbk seems that it has a lot ofspace over stock.

next plans ar my h pipe i should be buying soon and i need my headers in when i get those.
then onto the tb, plenum, and a tune.

i also am paying off 2k on a car that disappearedand am probably picking up a used audi for a d.d. in nov/early dec. i havere to watch how much i am speding on the mustang- but my plans are to do everyting before winter and have subframes installed when i have a d.d. and dont have to use my car. lol
