I just bought this 87 GT and I’m trying to decipher the engine stamping numbers/letters. It’s got the high output firing order but that’s all I know. Any help is greatly appreciated
F1SE is the block used for 91+ 302's. It's a T-bird part number but it also was used in the Mustang from 91-95 and the explorer.
7K14 is the casting date code. October 14th of 1997
It's an explorer block as that was the only 302 Ford was making in 1997. You'd have to dig around a bit more to see what else is on it. There may also be a partial VIN stamped on it on the rear china wall
