i am about to buy a 94 escort as a beater while my gt is being re-built they only want 300 for it she said the body is in good condition and the inside is too. the tires are good it has new inspection/emission and 115k on it but needs a new clutch. So does anyone know how much of a job this would be? for a front wheel drive 4cyl ? me dad has all the tools and more than enough knowledge to do it but should i take it to a shop? or do it my self? (i am looking into the cost of a new clutch now)
