Need Help Plz!!! Edelbrock RPM II 5.0 and Valve Covers

I know that many people have the Edelbrock RPM II 5.0 upper and lower on their cars, really need someones help that has this and 1.6 or 1.7 rockers, i need to know what valve covers will clear the intake or throttle body, do you use stock height or tall and get a spacer from edelbrock, they only sell 0.5" spacer and it is $86 each can someone please help me out, thanks
