Looking to lower my 02 GT. I hate how much wheel gap there is... I live in Boston where the roads are crap. How much should i lower it without bottoming out and such?

Ive seen sets for $50 but im sure they are crap...? seems like Eibach Sportlines are popular?

Not a good idea to cut your springs on a street car. We use to do it all the time for econo circle track racing to lower the car and increase the spring rate. When you cut your springs you are going to change your spring rates which will effect your ride quality and the balance of the car. If your car is a daily driver, I would suggest spending some money and doing it right. Even the cheapest lowering springs will be better than cutting your springs. Just my opinion.
