I got a 2001 ford mustang convertible stock as of right now I got a free set a rims from a friend but there 18x7.5 they have 235 40 18s on them right now 2 are good but the other 2 are garbage so wondering what tire setup I can run on 7.5 rims was thinking 245 45 18 but not sure if they rub any advice would be appreciated thanks

You can get away with that tire size on a 7.5 wheel as far as I know. Personally i run a 18x9 wheel with a 275/35/18 up front, and a 18x10 wheel with a 285/35/18 out back. I have zero rubbing/clearance issues so you should be fine.
