So far what I have is a 92 5.0 with a T trim running 12psi. I have the following parts added:
255 in tank with a trex pump still using the Vortech's FMU
BBK 65mm TB
C&L 73 mm MAF
Anderson powerpipe
24lb injectors
MSD 6 BTM
Hooker Super Comp 1 5/8 shorty's with Borla exhaust
Has a stock AOD
I have made 286 hp at the rear wheels but want more but I want to leave the h/c/i stock until I build my 331 later.
What should I change and what power might I be looking at?
TIA

Not much else you can change besides your heads cam and intake

Have Thumper or TMOSS work your heads and intake over. Leave your cam alone for now. Invest in some 42 lb injectors and a TwEECer or PMS (you can use these later to tune your new motor as well). Consider swapping your 65mm TB out for a 70 or 75mm (this will also be useful for the new motor). Those few changes and a good tune will get you well over the 300 RW mark. You may even find that the custom tune will allow you up the boost a couple of pounds. Having total control over injector pulse width and spark advance through the power range can work wonders.

Edit: A good stall converter and shift kit will help as well.

I have had a little work done to the AOD (Shift kit installed) The tranny is on its way out,(when it warms up it will not go into reverse unless you rev it) I brought the car to the track numerous times but could only muster a 12.56 at 112. I was running D/R at the time
Forgot to mention i have 3:73 with a True trac in the rear

Get the tranny re-built and get yourself a 2800- 3200 stall from Andre (he'l know what's best for your set-up) at Edge Racing and watch the sucker fly!!!

ya thats a good time for you hp. you could do methanol/distilled water injection. or an intercooler. either way your boost temps will be lower for more power. can get 50+ hp from either

A T Trim is a big blower. That HP seems low, even for a stock motor. There is 30-40 hp missing. It's probably a tuning issue. You may be running too conservative.

Have you had it tuned? My set up is very simaler to yours and I'm making 350@ the wheels. Man tranny though. I don't know how much diiference that makes. All stock motor internally. Only bolt on. Factory headers too.
