Need Help

I have a 98 4V that I bought to do the 2V to 4V swap. But after reading I'm a little concern about a couple of things and wonder what your opinion would be on this issue. Remember this is a 98% drag car and I'm staying NA.

On the 2V: Forged rotating assembly, 9:1 CR, & 262AH cams made 272rwhp and 295TQ through a auto with a high stall TC.

If I used just the shortblock on the 4V I'll bump the CR to 12:1 and I have stage II 2V heads that can go on the motor. Should make goes to 300rwhp and also the weight savings of the aluminum block is 80-90lbs.

On the 4V: It is B heads so not the best for NA power, I do have a 97 Cobra intake. Should roughly make through my auto 270-280rwhp (i'm guessing)

To make good power I'll need better heads like tumble ports, different cams and another intake to match the different heads.

I'm affraid since I don't have a lot of cash for diiferent heads and intake that I'll be slower this year going with the 4V motor since my 2V is already built.

What do you guys thing?
