Has anyone used the Predator data logger? What type of info does it cover? Can you view sensor activity in real time? That info would be great for DTC codes. Just wondering. I'n narrowing down my decision on a hand held tuner. Thanks Pearl02.

I have datalogged lots of times. I think it's one of the coolest features of the Predator. It's a good way to learn more about your car. I've logged RPM, SPARK ADV, LOAD while at the track to see how much timing is being added. I've logged ECT and TFT to see how hot the engine and transmission are getting. I've logged GEAR, TP V, VEHICLE SPEED to see what the shift points are during part throttle.

You can watch the data on the Predator's screen in real time. Or you can record it, upload it to your PC, and graph it.

Diablosport.com has the user's manual. Download it for a list of parameters you can datalog. The manual isn't 100% accurate though.

How good is the tuning you can do with the predator. I mean, if you slap your car on a dyno so you can see the AF can you really tune it as good as say a superchip can? What are the tuning options? A fixed tune or real control of it?

Thanks Propellerhead! I'm really leaning towards the Predator. The SCT Xcalibrator2 is due out this month. Sounds like it will have a data logger and DTC scanner. I don't think there's that much difference between the 2 tools. There are a few things that one will do that the other can't do. I just don't know how important that is. Thanks Again Pearl02.
