ok i have a 1987 ford mustang...of course lol,
its a 5.0 5speed lx coupe
prior police (ssp)
80,000 miles


i want some ideas of how much i can get for it??

it needs:

rack & pinoin
interior
motor mounts
and shocks/struts

has:

electric fan
2 built in 12" subs
pioneer head unit
auto meter tach
chrome mustang wheels ( chrome is peeling)

so im trying to sell it local for 5k

are you sure it's a ssp or just a coupe. people who think coupes are the same as ssp . $5g maybe and only if it had verifiable low 5digit odometer, but for a service vehicle that's not going to happen ever.

Replacing a rack&pinion is either a lot of work or very expensive. If the paint and body is straight, maybe $3000 if you're a good negotiator. But most people I think will walk away with that kind of problem

well i might try ebay saw one like mine a little more beat up trying to sell for 5k also. will see
