I dont want to lose the lowered look that I have now so all out drag springs are kinda out but what is a good alternative spring that is good for drag racing but wont give me the 4X4 look? The springs that are in there now are more suited for road racing and I need something that will give me better weight transfer to the rear

I've had some friends use Strange struts, and they all said the same thing. They have to be rebuilt constantly. I've heard the QA1 struts are much more reliable.

Yes, from what I understand, the QA1 struts are the best for drag racing, and they are 12 position adjustable. QA1 never really built their own struts. The original drag kits were all done with Hal shocks and struts, a company that had been building this stuff for years. In the beginning, QA1 packaged their drag kits with Hal shocks and struts. Eventually, QA1 bought out Hal and relabeled all their stuff with the QA1 name. I understand Strange makes a decent shock, but their struts have a tendancy to burst the seals, and leak fluid.

I know drag springs are the best option but I hate the 4X4 look and its a street/strip car so there must be something that's a happy medium

If you run a coil over with a QA1, and say a 195 rate spring (mid range), you are going to get a reasonable compromise on both. You can also crank up the front end at the track for better weight transfer, and crank it back down on the street for better appearance.
