Hey guys, i need some new tires.. my original thought was to go with nitto 555's up front and Nitto 555r's in the back, or bfgs up front with bfg drag radials in the rear. Anyone had one of these tires? Pros Cons? Also does anyone know anything about the BFG G-force T/A KD? Their supposed to hook up well i hear. What size tire would fit the stock turbine wheels, without going with an insanely low profile? Thanks guys

i take it from your comments, youre lookin for a DR in the rear of some sort. Nitto and BFG both make some darn good stuff. not sure about you finding exactly what you want with a 15 x 7 wheel tho.....maybe.

theres just so many options: speed ratings, handling, treadwear, summer tire, all seasons, stock size, not stock....

if you're lookin for a stock replacement tire with all-season performance, heres one by Yokohama with a 320 treadwear and a pretty tough tread pattern.

i have sumitomos on my 95 in a 275 / 40 / 17. the treadwear is awesome and the ride is great and quiet. but you sacrifice some handling. car wants to "roll" a little. but for the $$, i like them.

as for your BFGs: heres 2 DRs to choose from-

the BFG G force T/A DR 2 : it comes in a slightly wider 235 / 60 / 15 for $129

or

the BFG G force T/A DR : it comes in the factory width but a little shorter sidewall with a 225 / 50 / 15 at a $114

for fronts if you went with BFG, several choices :

BFG Traction T/A traction H & V : heres one thats not too pricey in a 225 / 60 / 15 for $70

im not sure i helped. all this is assuming that you want to stick close to the stock size?

good luck

What kind of mileage are you looking to get out of a drag radial? From experience: Between the 2 drag radials you mentioned the Nitto will get far better mileage. However, the BFG is gonna hook a heck of a lot better. For the street I am currnetly running Falken Ziex ZE512 225/50/16 up front and Nitto Drag Radial 555R 245/50/16 out back. Here are some people I have dealt with http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do
