T3/t4 hybrid would be perfect that set up.
Seriously though, if that idea didn't slap you in the face and spark interest don't do it. You'd be in deep on a reliable turbo build. You could use that money on something else.

That car is rare now...thought I'd throw that in there. Original i6 cars will be going up in price with all of us raping every car we come across. Maybe post it and see what you can get for it..... Then buy a body and build a 393. Not saying its worth a million bucks or as much as an original 5.0 but someone somewhere would love to restore that thing.

Fwiw I don't think it would be worth more as an original 6 cyl car. Any value in that vehicle will be in a straight frame and damage free body.

They are under my trailer. The bearings went bad in the hubs with the GM bolt pattern...

I'm actually in the process of literally changing over to ford hubs. And then adding turbo.

Hummmmmm.....one turbo per cylinder........admittedly the plumbing might hold a small challenge to it. Let's get @madmike1157 in on this one, he probably already thought of that and has plumbed an exhaust for it.

A v8 will require k member, tyranny, tyranny mounts, might as well upgrade spindles and control arms, 8.8 rear, new drive shaft, yadda yadda yadda...

Best bet is to get a clapped out 87-93 and swap all the goodies over. Otherwise keep that straight 6 chugging along.

Best advice you're going to get. If that doesn't fit within your budget, or skill set, you probably should consider selling the car.

The swapping of the engine itself is the easy part. It's the "suporting" parts is what'll kill ya.
