hey guys got a shot at some catbacks used:

1) flowmaster catback

2) stock pipe with 40's welded in

3) stock pipe with 50's welded in

there all for 94-04:

will they work, the price is right the flowmaster is 80.00 and the other are 50 i think.

the stock's are 2 and a quater and the flo is 2.5........ i have a mac x-pipe. can they work or what?? the the deal/price is great!!!!!!!!

might meet up with the guy at 5 so i need to know

Well which is it? There are 3 year spans in there.

94-95
96-98
99-04

The hangers are different between those 3 years. The older the cat-back the better it will fit. The 99-04 will need you to cut off all the hanger and make your own.

im not worried about the hangers, and im not sure what, its a parts pile, i havnt seenthem in person, but i just need to know if it will clear the axle and bolt up. i dont mind making some custom hangers for that price. especially if they have nice tips on them.. which one owuld sound best with the x pipe. i guess the 2.5 flow is the best bet, but i would take which ever looks best. are 50's louder or quiter???

well guys, should i hop on it:nice: or :notnice:.

im not gonna buy something that would be an extreme pita, although it would be cheaper than even peicing toghether junk....hmmm. ...

`i am gonna buy mac cat-back if i have to go brand new!

I just installed a 2001 MAC catback on my 81 nothback. Fit perfectly, just had to modify tail pipe hangers. I used the bumper rebar hangers from the 2001 on my 81. A lot better than squeazing your hand up in the frame rail area where you can't see crap.

H pipes should work from 87-95. Make sure the center isn't welded though. You may need to spread the H pipe out for a fox body. I think 94-95 headers were more slender to accomodate the 94+ body.

well the mac catback might be alittle more universal! i guess i should aim for the flowmaster cat back then..... i just thought maybe the stock piping/shape will not work? but i guess aftermarket kits mold there stuff to be like factory:shrug: , i dont have the money for this awesome deal cause a sale didnt pull through!:notnice: so i might not be able to snag it:mad:
i know it willbe gone soon, you cant beat that price.....

My experience with '94+ cat-backs is that the mufflers fit fine, but the tail pipes are angled differently at the axle and the axle hits the pipes when you go over bumps. I had some SN95 tail pipes on my car and they just didn't work too great.
