i recently realized my obsession with street racing....last night i raced a buddy of mine he has a 1992 300z twin turbo...he upgraded the turbos and exhaust...we didnt go from a standing...we raced from about 55mph...he was hating himself cause hes pretty cocky bout his car and i know those cars are fast to begin with but i did kill him by almost a cars length...but i wasnt satisfied...i need more man...i buried the 140mph speedo..but it wasnt enough..so if anyone is sellin a baseline vortech 5 or 6 psi let me know...that wil get me to the level ill be happy with...oh yeah..AND KIDS DONT TRY THAT AT HOME

i will buy within couple of weeks if the price is right..im not sure i mean a base kit from vortech is about 1900 or 2grand...so ill spend 1000 for a used one in good condition and complete u know

Well after reading your post I see what you want...that supercharger runs around $1600 dollars...and you will want a good tune also...with some bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump...

Check around on ebay for some used ones...some people sell them brand new for cheap on there after deciding they don't want it...

i mean the vortech kit....i think comes with a 255 pump and computer too...i would have to run 42lb injectors right??

no not necassarilly, 42 would be slightly to large for your motor combo, especially with 5-6 psi

Go with 36lb injectors...or 42lbs if you can get a tune and you would be just fine...a tune will do it all...

I knew you meant the Vortech kit...I don't believe it comes with a computer though...because combos vary when people slap on a supercharger...

Yeah go with the 255lph fuel pump...

well it wasnt like small street it was about a mile before the tappenzee bridge and then on the bridge race ended at the tolls

hey super stallion i know the psi that i want is not much but u think my motor will live for a year or so with the blower on it...i dont beat it on daily basis and its a strong runnin engine just hit 100k

Find out for sure if the thing is setup for a GT-40 lower. It doesn't look like the person that answered the question on ebay knew what the hell he was talking about. Any of the 5 liter kits can be setup for a GT-40 lower regardless of size.

Who is super stallion? ...you mean me (5spd GT)...After you hit a certain number of posts you get automatic names under you screenname like "street master" and my current "super stallion"...just for your information...

Well I would do a compression check...but if you got a tune (any mustang shops or dynos in your area)...they could set you up with a nice daily driver tune that would help the chance of your block not splitting or letting go...somepeople have had their engine "fail" at 300rwhp and some at 550rwhp...it all depends...it is hard to say without knowing the real condition of your engine and its rotating assemblies...
