Work on the launch and you should be good, you stand to loose at least a half second off your ET just in the 60'

Good God, theres hope for my lx afterall! Kinduva dumb question, but is the nitrous on the whole time or on the upper rpm? How many miles do you have on you motor and tranny? Man, get that 60 ft. down, and you'll have a mid to low 13 sec car! COOOL!

motor and tranny have 101000 on them never been touched. i started spraying at about 200 to 250 foot out and held it on all the way out the back door.

With just a CAI, exhaust and underdrive pullies I went 13.0 with a 100 shot, and that was with crappy 2.73 gears as well.

Trev: when you say it ran 15.1, that was with none of the mods in your sig at all?

Like twinturbo said, if you can get that down to a 1.9 60', that will shave off 1 second from your time.

Wow, IMO thats some excellent gains from just the 75 hit! I liked my old Zex kit. The 100 shot gave me a solid 11+ MPH back in 2002. My LX was basically stock 5 speed w/ 3.08s.. pullies, K&N, cat back and that was it. Detuned for nitrous [10* timing, colder plugs] it ran a 14.17 @ 98 MPH and then on the 100 shot with same 60 foots as you 2.20s - 2.30s it went 13.55 @ 110.67.. I just bought another one though... but this time it'll be spraying through AFR heads and stuff this time

If yer car were my car..

& you plan to stay with the stock motor for a while and just use the nitrous for the extra HP.

I'd get: 255 L/hr fuel pump, a shift kit, trans cooler, 2800-3000 RPM torque convertor, some 3.55 or 3.73 gears, and lastly an ET Street or ET Drag... put the 100 jets in, you'll be deep in the 12s.

You can spray with a hypereutectic piston. They are still stronger than a cast, however extreme care to avoid detonation, running lean etc should be taken [should do that no matter....] but you just wouldnt want to go real crazy with the size of nitrous shot you use.. or amount of boost etc.

I keep on being tempted on buying a bottle. I am all into the all motor thing but on the other hand no one else is anymore. Most of the guys I know have a bottle now. Yeah, they leave it off when we race but when Joe Doe comes along and wants to run them and sprays on you but denies it, I want to return the favor.

i ran the 15.10 with the full exhaust. and the 13.86 on the n2o. i plan on getting a 2800 stall, transgo shift kit, 3.55's, e-cam, trickflow intake, and port the E7 heads or get trickflow heads. i hope to get deep into the 12's with that.

what do yall think? is that possible?
