Ran the car Friday night in prep for the Clash of the Titans race. Changed the rear gear from 4.30 to 4.56 and moved the 2step rpm up a little to 4900rpms. The track was prepped very well, air was so-so.

10.675 @ 125.72 w/ a 1.436 60ft time. Backed it up with a 10.702 @ 125.27 when the air got worse.

Car is getting faster everytime out, guess the motor is finally loosening up. Trying to get that 10.50 out of it.

Simply amazing Troy! That is freaking FLYING for an auto 94-95, especially NA!

What prompted the gear change, were you crossing at or under its peak with the 4.30's?

A 1.43 60' is GETTING IT!!! Are your eye balls still stuck in the back of your head???

Yea I was crossing the traps around 6800. So I swapped to the 4.56s and now we are crossing the traps around 7200 which is about perfect. Hopefully will get on the dyno Tuesday and the will go back to the track in after the holidays. Dunno may have Brian send me some new springs to try and get some more RPM. I need to bouce some ideas off him tomorrow when he gets to work.

Troy, is this a solid roller or is it still a hydro cam? 7200rpm is wicked!!!

AFM N91 cam, hydraulic roller, OEM Ford Lifters. I know it will go more no problem but need to change the valve springs. The only thing holding me back is how high I feel comfortable spinning a 28oz balanced rotating assembly.

It's either going to go or blow thats awesome. How often you you have to readjust the rockers?

Not sure what the "go or blow" statement means. This is all motor and it is pretty bullet proof. As for the rockers I adjusted them once after some initial heat cycles and haven't touched them since. You shouldn't have to continously readjust stud mount rockers on a hydraulic roller, I shouldn't have to touch them at all.
