hey guys I just bought this car and I would really like to get some new wheels for it. I thought this would be a good way to show off the new stang and see what they would look like. I'm thinking fr500s but i cant decide between the silver ones or the chrome finish ones. I know that i want 18x10.5 in back and 18x9 in front. i'm also open to any other wheels you think would look good! any input or photoshop would be great! Thanks a lot!
For some reason i can't get the pictures to show up on the forum so i'm gonna have to post a link to them... if someone could figure out how to get them on here that would be awesome! the new one should be pictures 5-10 of the album

from what i know the mods are just a mac o/r h pipe and cat back, drilled and slotted rotors, eibach springs(i think pro kit... they're black). adjustable tokico shocks, weld in sub frame connectors, and hid lights. i think thats about it

for the images, upload them to photobucket and copy and paste the image code here.

for the wheels, get the silver over the chrome.

nice car btw

Thanks for the advice on the pics! hopefully it will work this time!

I thought about maybe saleens or some 03-04 cobras but i'm kind of wanting to get away from the 5 spoke design because its very common around where i live and i want something a little different...

Thanks a lot nightshifter! it is the same one that reads in kilometers. It's been lowered on eibachs i think the prokits? they don't seem to be low enough especially in the front i was thinking about removing the isolators and hopefully that will be enough to get a good stance. those pictures might actually be before the springs. they are pics the previous owner took its been raining non stop here since i got it so i haven't had a chance to take any pics for myself i hadn't really thought about the anthracite wheels but thats another route i may look in to.

Very clean man nice looking whip! Best of luck with it, and i agree with night on this one, the FR500's would look sick on that car, mad props!

thanks stangsim! so far i've been very pleased with it im hoping having a wider wheel will help fill up some of the fender gap. Which finish would you think in the fr500?

Chrome saleens would look really nice on your car. If you do go with FR500's, I think silver w/ a machined lip is the best finish. Also, if you get FR500's be sure you get the deep dish rears. I bought silver 18 x 9/10 FR500's this year, and although it is not a new edge you get the idea.

n8dogg98- thats the exact set up i was thinking about going with if i got the silvers. I definitely wanna go deep dish on the back

Night shifter- i tried takin some pics with my phone but they were just terrible lol... so i'll wait till its nice out and snap some when its clean with a buddies nice camera. and speaking of the old car i'm almost afraid to see it around town. I heard the guy that bought it took it in and had a big skull put on the back window and had the punisher put under that you may have to remind me but i'll put some pics of the hood pins on here also. they aren't the locking ones so all you really have to do is push down on one side and they pop up...

its cool we can wait lol... itd be nice if georgio threw some pick up of his car...we'd all get to stare at it in remembereance

it's too bad you couldnt pull the h off your old car before you got this one since its the body style it came off...your poor old car needs saved lol

was there any other mods on the car when you bought it.. i looked at getting those hood pins as well..always wondered how they worked..kinda neat design

yeah it has a few other mods... nothing major though. i edited my first post to include them but here they are again

mac o/r h pipe and cat back
weld in sub frame connectors
drilled and slotted rotors
eibach pro kit springs (i think)
adjustable tokico shocks
hid headlights
i think he said it had cold air intake but he changed it back to stock and put a k&n air filter in it... dont really know why lol
I think thats it though... or at least as far as i know lol
