New Car...what kind of tune up?

So I bought an 03' GT with 50,000 miles on her, IM getting ready to run sea foam and was wonder wondering, since she is mine now what oil, and how far into a tune up should I go. I.E. plugs,diff oil changed, trans oil changed. MInd you I live in Northern cali, cooldest it gets is about 30' and I love to run her hard. I have a heavy foot.

Change the oil/filter, Change the plugs, change the fuel filter, if its a manual change the trans fluid, if the rear is quiet; don't worry about the rear diff, change the air filter if needed...or re-oil if it is an oil type.

Check your brake pads for wear, replace as needed, If the pads are okay and you have one, or can get access to one mic. your rotors and see where they're at too. Replace/resurface as needed.

Also, do the old "push down" technique on all 4 corners to see the state of your shocks/struts, it should be marginally difficult to push and should rise evenly. If not, think about new shocks/struts.

Also, coolant probably needs to be flushed and refilled, and add Water Wetter. If it still has the stock serpentine belt, replace it with a Gatorback and keep the stock belt in the trunk as a spare.

oh, and dont forget the pcv system and clutch pedal adjustment if you have a 3650

plugs:
most people like to use the coppers in the stock heat range for stock to slightly modified cars because they work better than the platinums, but they have to be replaced about every 12k miles. i like to stick with motorcraft or autolite, but the champions, ngk, and others are ok too.

make sure you dont touch those plugs until the car has cooled down overnight or you will strip out the threads. when you torque them down, use a torque wrench and torque to 13 ft-lbs do not use any other method such as hand tight and another 1/4 turn etc...

Use the factory platinum motorcraft plugs. You can get the same ones at Autozone for half price.

Adding to the list of fluids to change, flush the old brake fluid out with fresh.

Doing all this to a car that you do not have a history on, sounds like a lot, but it will pay off.

?? I love my gatorback belt. It makes a sweet fake supercharger hum.
If you think you can be responsible about keeping your car properly maintained, pick up some copper spark plugs. If not, then go platinum. Also, make sure that air silencer is gone.

Autolite plugs=Motorcraft plugs>NGK plugs
