Hey everyone!! I'm usually on the 94-95 forums but after today I'll be on both! My wife finally got smart and got rid of her Honda Civic hatch and bought this!! Not to bad for $600, and theres no rust under her either.

Now I know it's a 4cyl, but the first upgrade is gonna be a 5.0 5spd 8.8 swap. I know that theres a lot of body rust and the drivers seat doesn't match, but everything still works great and runs and drives smooth as heck!! Let me know what you think!!!

Turbo Coupe, sir...not Super Coupe...SC seats are similar to SHO seats but with different upholstery. Still T-Bird though

Decent little ride for $600...but she is going to hate the change in gas mileage from her Civic once that 5.0 is in there

Yeah i always get rhem mixed up. Some cougars have the same seats wrapped black leather. Either wich way a 600 dolla car is a good deal.

Yeah she might hate the gas mileage but shell like the power! The seats will hopefully get swapped out soon. I do have a quick question for the professionals real quick, the roof has a couple dents in it and since she like ttops I figured I would put one in. I found one in good shape with the glass tops still in good shape but it was and older 4 eye. Is this really a hard swap?

Thanks for the thoughts so far!

It involves a whole roof swap and a door swap I think, so yeah it's really hard. I think someone has done it before on here at one time.

Looks like a nice project car though.

I don't think you have to switch the doors, just the glass is taller. I think it may be the same as 'vert windows, but don't quote me on that.

Unfortunetly I think I will have to switch the doors since the doors on it have the frame around the window. So new question, can I use vert doors?? The 4 eye I had seen at the JY still had the doors but the bottom of the car was in standing water so I figure the bottom of the doors are shot! I think I'm just about done with my 94 for now (till I get everything together for my new build) but I have another project car to work on. But it will be extremely nice to have a game plan going.

I did, however, just get a set of full length sub frame connectors and new taillights for it. So here in the next couple days I will get to tracing the head light switch problem, the tails, and fixing the dent/removing dumb@$$ smokey and the bandit antenna that's drilled into the side of the car!

Never a dull day in the Mustang world!!!

You can use the doors you have you just need to cut the top off correctly, then you need to snag the glass and rubber boot that goes over the cut edge by the mirrors out of that car you saw in the jy, the most work would be switching roofs, but i suppose it could be done. The doors also have extra reinforcement like vert doors, see my build thread on here(project rusty t-top coupe) I had to swap out doors.
