found a 89lx for $2000 car is in great shape!! only rust is just alittle on the hatch lid, it has a virgin motor except a cat-back. i couldn't believe it when i saw it. not sure of the milage it shows 98k but it's only a 5 digit odometer. car runs great no smoke no hesitation.. the only problem is it has red interior and its a automatic. i have never owned a auto would it be worth it to switch to a t5 or should i just work with what i got? i'll post pics sometime this weekend i don't pic up the car till saturday....

Sounds good for 2K. Can't wait to see pictures. Interior's can always be swapped. I would swap to a T5 or better, but I'd enjoy the auto for a little while just for a change of pace.

lol I saw that same car in the auto trader I thought about buying it myself. But I already got 1 car that needs some attention.

yeah i got it off autotrader, i thought at first it was probably ragged out and smoking but gave a call talk w/ the dude he sounded legit so i went and took a look and by my surprise he wasn't lying.. car is solid with a clean motor!! i bought my 88lx off autotrader and it looked good in the pic and the seller swore by it but after buying it come to find out it was a huge headache!!! but this i'm keepping a total DD not doing anything over the top...
