New Gears 8.8

does anyone know how to put new gears in an 8.8 i need help....is $230 a good price if i include "everything" to do it?

Make sure you get a good installer. Experience is key to have satisfactory gear installs. Make sure to get a master kit that has axle bearings, seals, carrier shims, pinion shims, crush sleeve and all that.

yea his guys good im going to buy the entire install kit...he says the 411 is very hard to get them not to make noise but he says he can get it to make little to zero noise

I paid $150 to have mine installed. I would suggest someone that knows what they are doing, my buddy put his in and his rearend wines really loud now.

Dude you want an experienced person or shop that does rearend for a living...if its not done properly its goin to whine and its goin to drive u nuts...get a pro i just had mine done for 200 bux labor 3.73's installed

im going to try and do a complete gear rebuild/swap in my 8.8 but im always teaching myself new things it doesent seem to hard if it wines it needs adjustment thats all
