you need to try to find an old lightning or cobra R lower...the gt-40s for the 351 are the staggered circular runners, its the same design as the 94-95 cobra but the 351 is just wider at the base...either that or fork up the dough to buy the lower from summit or jegs etc.I BOUGHT THIS INTAKE. ITS A PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS TYPHOON 351W LOWER. AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BOLT UP TO MY GT-40 UPPER, BUT SURPRISE IT WONT. THERE IS SO MUCH STUFF NOT LINNING UP. MY GT-40 HAS A SERIES OF STAGGARD HOLES THESE ARE ALL SIMETRICAL SQUARES. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF INTAKE WOULD LINE UP WITH IT. WILL A TRICK FLOW STREET HEAT LINE UP? SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE.
I would return it and get the GT-40 lower.
yea well the person i bought it from is now in county pulling a 270-360 for drunk driving and i cant. i want a upper to match the lower i have.
the only uppers that will work with the typhoon lower is edelbrock or typhoon themselves. trick flow has offset square ports allthough they look similar to the edelbrock they are not even close. best bet would be to either get a typhoon upper or edelbrock upper.
