i had an interview earlier today and just got a job doing valet. Pretty excited, i start next week. Hopefully i get to * park * some bad ass cars. My buddy use to do valet at a high-end restuarant and actually parked a couple lambos, aston martins, etc.

thats tight man. i wouldnt mind doing that, and i hear theres some good money being thrown around. i know if i owned an italian supercar, i wouldnt mind shelling out $5-$10 to ensure my car gets treated right.

so what skills does one need to land a valet job? honestly? know how to drive auto and stick. do they pull your driving record?

Sweet, valet would be nice as long as they are responsible and reputable.

I remember when I went on vacation where I was staying had a valet service for their resturant, and holy cow... they TORE those cars UP!!! Like, as soon as you walk in the door they are hammering down laying rubber and crap. Not impressive, id have been pissed off... but hey, thats just one experience.

Good luck with it, hopefully youll get to work with some bad ass rides.

i work a gate at concerts sometimes and i see the valet guys just running all the time. they dont drive but just a sec and then run for the next min or two to pick the next car.
