New King Cobra clutch kit installed, adjusted, we'll see after 500 miles...

I had to get back to the shop today, in order to have my speedometer cable hooked back up, but everything is replaced.:nice:

New FRPP King Cobra Clutch Kit (Including TO bearing)
New Clutch Fork
New Pilot bearing
New (2) Universal joints
Resurfacing of stock flywheel
New rear main seal
Plus $45 for the tow...

$455.00 for all the labor + $45.00 for the tow

I adjusted the steeda firewall adjuster out just enough to where the pedal has a slight play in it, but no where near where the guy at the shop had it.
Don't worry it is no tight enough to cause problems.

But now I only have, after cruising around a bit tonight, 30 miles on it...

So at this rate, of 30 miles a day, it will take... about 17 days to get this thing to where I can get on it.:notnice:

P.S. I am keeping the RPMs below 2000, I think this is a good precaution.

Hey man, next time do it yourself. Its not too hard, and think of the money you can save. It seems daunting at first, but if you have a garage, can afford a decent tool set, jack stands and a jack, it's cake. There is wealth of info on the boards, and you do almost ANYTHING with a 3/8, 1/2 ratchets openends and jacks.
