So I replaced all that stuff cause i was getting a 212 ignition module circuit failure/spout connector grounded. Still runs like crap. Just the same as it did before....It bucks and misses at all rpms and all temps. the idle is really ruff as well. help!!

Im starting to think it will never be fixed...2 weeks and 700 bucks later....nothing.

Ouch...700.00...sucks to be you.... :(

What about the stator in the dizzy??? That might throw an ignition related code....

Yank that spout and replace it with a jumper wire of sorts..maybe its roached and causing the ground fault??

I have a similar problem, code 212

I'm having bucking and missing problems also... from what I can gather the engine doesn't have any feedback as to where the timing is. I am considering changing out the ignition module (the one on the pass side fender well) for the stock one again, just to eliminate that. I have the one from performance distributors PowerMod. This did not eliminate the rough idle, but since I replaced my heads this bucking problem has gotten progressively worse... I don't think it's directly head related. otherwise, could it just be a short to ground like the code says? I want to know what component would short to ground when it goes bad/ gets hot. does anyone else have any ideas? or know what the ignition diagnostic module is? I've replaced everything else in the ignition as well.
