new mods to go w/ the mongoose???

alright guys,
I've been on a brief respite from modding my car in order to get my jeep in good trail riding condition, but now I'm ready to start working on the stang again...but of course I've got some questions. You can see my sig. for the majority of my mods, so I've got a lot of 'air flow' mods knocked out of the way. I've been wondering if replacing the intake manifold to a bullitt or P-51 would really be beneficial to my blower (help w/ boost @ lower rpms), but I don't want to gain an insane amount of power and have to rebuild the block. Another option I've been looking at is going with some aftermarket COP's in order to improve the throttle response before the blower kicks in. Again, I'm unsure if it'll help or not, but from what I've heard, it should. The only other major thing on my list is to improve traction, but that's another question all together....

so does anybody have any helpful tid bits of info that they could share with me here...I'm just looking for something that'll give me a noticeable increase in power and will have me under the hood again figuring out how something else works

Since you have a mongoose kit, I'd ask this over at MPH forums. I'd think a bullitt intake would do wonders for air flow, especially if you port and polish it. They supposedly add a good 20hp or so. Another good mod might be MPH blower cams if you want to get that serious. Or an intercooler and smaller pulley to bring down IATs. There is a lot of stuff you can still do and keep the stock shortblock. I think it can handle a good 450hp, especially on a safe tune from Tim.
