My car has been needing a new short block for a few months. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I went ahead and ordered a DSS Pro Bullet. They had it in-stock and ready to go. I got it one week later and everything looked great. I've got it in the car and should have it running soon. I re-used most of my old parts. I replaced my old Wolverine cam with a smaller TFS Stg 1. Also added a 170 amp 3G alt. Re-painted and cleaned everything up too. Hoping to make about 450 whp when all is said and done. Here's pics...

How long did that take you to put together and in?

My swap is taking FOREVER, but to my aide I have football from 3-9 everyday.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It's hard to say how much time I have invested because I've just been doing things little by little. Plus I'm very thorough. I used to be a Ford tech though, so this stuff is all fairly simple for me to do.

I still need to finish up a few things in the engine bay, then I need to get the clutch and trans in. Should have it running by next week hopefully. Oh, and Kabuki_Notch, I'm gonna be running about 10 psi

Lol, it's actually a bottle of sugar-free Orange Ade I got at Wal-Mart. It has my Dexcool coolant in it in the pic though.

The valve covers and oil pan were painted with Dupli-Color low gloss black engine paint. Then I sprayed them with a few coats of clear
