I just finished swapping in a new motor and I have been having a tough time keeping it cool.
With the old stock motor, i had trouble getting it to actually reach operating temperature. now it just wants to overheat.
It has plenty of coolant at a 50/50 mix, and the thermostat is installed correctly.
The electric fan runs at full capacity
I double checked the timing and it is also set properly.
The setup is as follows: 306 W/ GT40 intake, B303 Cam, underdrive pullies, 192 degree thermostat, electric fan, larger 3 row rad, other usual bolt-ons.
I really don't know what to do.. when the car runs for 5 minutes and i shut it off, i can hear the coolant boiling..
please help
