ok my 88gt needs a new motor , and with a lil help from uncle sam and job #2
I will have some xtra cash to spend come spring.
This car will be drove about 400-500 miles a month between march and october
and will see some time at the strip and on open track days ( maybe 5 or 6 times a year tops) I only have the $$$ to do this once so I need to get it right the 1st time.
I have been doing research on a dart based 331 , forged internals, afr 185 heads and a Kenne Bell 2.2L
some questions that I have is will this be a reliable combo ? I would want to be able to drive this thing to Myrtle Beach and back every summer ( 6 hour trip)
I currently have no A/C or smog , I have read you can get the KB to work without A/C but do you have to have the smog pump hooked up??
I currently have T56 and mac longtubes and 4:10's .... these mods will stay also .
