New Mustang In The Family. (PICS!!!!)

I dig the big 71-73 Stangs. You will get a great view of the interior out of the rear view mirror though. The angle that the glass is on doesn't give you a good view of the road but if it looks good who cares.

Come Thanksgiving you might want to make a trip up too Daytona for the The Turkey Rod Run at the Speedway. They have one HUGE swap meet and you should be able to find just about any part that you need.

And like SVT said that is a good project car cause everything is still there. Sure it needs some panels but you can get pretty much everything for the early Mustangs in reproduction. You can get full firewalls, frame sections, a full floorpan with transmission tunnel for the 65-68s so I am sure there are plenty of parts for that 71.

My 65 vert need both quarters, both doors, one fender, taillight panel, floors, both front torque boxes, drivers side subframe extension, rear cowl and convertible rain channel replaced. When they had it taken apart it looked like the front clip with a flat frame attached to it where the doors should be. I have some pics around somewhere if I can find them I'll post them.

awesome! lol and the 65 sounds just like mydads 68 conv.

and yeah ive found all the parts i need for the 71. today i was gonna order the panels but it was another 160 for shipping. so ima go to a local shop that is about mustang restoration. hopefully he'll have it. but aside from that, i bought a starter repair kit, deruster, spark plugs, cap and rotor, belt, and tomorrow om gonna buy the voltage regulator, starter solenoid, positive contact wire, and charge the batt. hopefully itll crank up.

Oh and im gonna post a progress thread now. so all my progress things wil be posted there. including my mach 1's name :D
