Hello All-

I am stuck in a horrible dilemma. I have been looking at new wheels for my Mustang. I will be getting 17x9 all the way around with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport 245/45. So, here's the dilemma: I am POSITIVE I want either a polished or chrome finish, but what I can't for the life of me decide is whether to get a torq/bullitt style or a straight 5-spoke cobra style. I've heard pros and cons for both from a bunch of friends and I still can't decide. I have turned this issue over to the Mustang loving, driving world.

Thanks a bunch,
Adam

P.S. With this installation I will be putting on Eibach springs. Which brings up another question: does anyone have the Sportlines? Have you had issues with bottoming out or hi centering on speed bumps? If so, would your recommend the Pro Kit instead?

Well, the 5-spoke Cobra wheels will leave more room to see the performance brakes you will no doubt want to get one day.

I am going to play the jerk/adversary here for one second. I dont think we can decide which wheel is best for you. The Cobras were the craze and everyone got them for the longest time. Now the bullets have taken their place. IMHO 17's are too small. I have the eibach sportline springs on my car and it bounces like hell if you get two more people in your ride. Honestly, if it were me I would choose Progress springs, or H&R and go with 18's. You will have a better looking stance with less fender gap and better ride. I have tried all the combos and I think this is what works best. I have no problems bottoming out as far a suspension and underbody goes as I am careful (comes with the territory of owning 7 lowered vehicles) although I have an issue with the aftermarket duel exhaust hanging down too far.... Just my .02 cents...

Thanks for the help. It turns out I've decided to get the 18x9 with 245/45 tires. I'll still have to look into the suspension tho.
