new stock cobra what to modify first...

hey i just sold my 92 mustang gt with the works...it was pushing 350 hp and bought a 95 cobra...its kind of slower but i can up its hp....i'm thinking of putting on a 2-1/2in x-pipe and have it dumped and cold air first....i also have a set of 3:73 gears that i had bought for my brother-n-laws 89 mustang gt before he sold it...any ideas will be helpful....

The basic boltons are a good place to start, but if you want to get some real results I would start with some AFR 165s and a new cam.

thanks....i plan on an e303 cam....underdrive pulleys, cold air a bigger throttle body, basically all the bolt ons...but i'm curious about an x-pipe or an h-pipe....i had an x-pipe on my 92 and its sounded freaking awsome and loud....this 95 is quiet.....

I prefer the sound of the X-pipe compared to the H-pipe, they do make a little more power also.

Get some Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors to firm up the ride and get more of your horsepower to the ground. The stock catback is pretty restrictive on those too, so replace that.
