New Summit Racing store just opened in GA

I was heading out on a trip with my wife to Warner Robins and just before I got to the Interstate, I saw this huge brand new building full of cool cars and motorcycles in the parking lot. Sure enough, it was a new Summit Racing store. The place is so huge that I'm sure they have tons of stuff in stock. On the way back from my trip, we stopped by and it looked real nice inside. It wasn't full of Mustang stuff, but all the Mustang books I've ever heard of were there for sale.

Location: Interstate 75 (south of Atlanta) at the exit for Hwy 155 in McDonough, Georgia. The store is literally less than 100 feet from the Interstate.

Pretty cool having yet another reputable auto store in the Atlanta area. Right now, I use Mustangs Unlimited's store and sometimes Dugan Racing's store which are also local.

Check it out if you're in the area. (I've not actually bought anything from Summit, but they've got lots of stang stuff in their catalog and most people on the board seem to really like them.)

Is that the same exit for Atlanta Motor speedway, or is it further north? I'm leaving Tifton on March 17 for the truck race and just wanted to know if I'll be passing it?

I can look it up, but, then ya'll wouldn't know I was going to the race.

LOL, where have you been? Maybe Summit only spams me weekly about the opening of the store?

I got a flyer in the mail today about the grand opening starting on March 10th. They are supposed to have prizes, special discounts, etc.

One thing that sucks for us GA people is now we have to pay sales tax when ordering (online, phone, local pickup) from Summit. $40 in tax sent my business to Jeg's instead on my order placed last night.

And the outlet malls are only one exit away, so you can drop your wife off there while you shop at Summit...

They had a big display at the World of Wheels car show in Atlanta 3 weeks ago, and were handing out catalogs as fast as they could.

I didn't have time on the trip up or back to go to the new store, but I will soon....

I went last weekend, nice place to check out. I got Bullit Pedals for my 'Stang, they didn't have the Bullit shift knobs in stock though. The cars and cycles on display there were awesome too, especially with all the grand opening stuff going on.

Went. Cool.

Traffic was bad and it took me minute to get there even after I got off the interstate. It was easy to get to the track from there too, just hit Hampton-Locust Grove and there you go.
