new tires

i have a 95 GT with SVT cobra wheels. i currently have 275/40-17 Eagle F1's all around but need 2 new tires(obviously in the rear). i cant afford to buy new eagle F1's and I'm having trouble finding other tires in this size for a reasonable price???

I've always liked BFGoodrich tires myself. G-Force Super Sport A/S tires are listed on that link for $140/ea. I have G-Force T/A KDWS 275/40s on my '02, but they don't make that tire in that size anymore.

i just got a pair of kumhos for mine. so far so good. I don't go to the track though.

I like the Kumo Ecsta MX tires, though they can be a bit pricey. Kumho's do have more road noise than other tires, but they grip really well for the price.

JtravmustangGT, you didn't say where you're from. Do you need tires that can handle snow? I live in Southern California, so I don't need all-season tires. Kumho's may not be your best bet for snow.
