New track times, im getting there

This is my first run after 30 minutes of driving, an hour of idleing , full tire pressure, 1/2 tank a gas, and wind going against me.

r/t.....568
60' 2.156
330 5.979
1/8 9.105
MPH 78.93
1000 11.803
1/4 14.072
MPH 97.53

my next runs i had 60' of 2.111 and 2.093 but i missed 2nd both times so i got a 14.4 and a 14.8 :bang: what should i be at with these mods? i think ive decided instead of buying twisted wedge heads im gonna buy c/c plates, wheel spacers, subframes, tri-ax, long tubes, and a strut bar. which would you pick?

It seems that your favoring handling over power by the proposed mods that you have listed. you arent getting the TFS heads, but your going suspension. now, if you want lower times, the long tubes will help, if you want handling, go with the others you have listed.
get the heads, then get the other stuff later. just my opinion

Those Eibachs are killing your short times. You would have been in the 13's were those springs not in there. I would buy some LT's and a triax. It's too early for TW heads - you need to get all the supporting crap first, which costs just as much as the heads themselves.

You have terrible weight transfer with those springs. The only thing you could do is either take them out, which would be the best thing. Or to get a set of subframe connectors, which will stiffen up the chassis a little bit and help with launches.

well to me, its not about getting down the track as fast as I can. it has so handle good and look good also(which explains those rims that weigh wayyy too much) so I think im gonna leave them in. is there a better set of springs i could get? im going with the subframes/cc plates/shifter/strut bar/spacers/ longtubes instead of the heads for now. once i get that done, what should i be running? think i can get mid 13s? what else other then heads/n2o/blower could get me into 12s?

btw, joes95gt your a big help everytime i ask a question and i really appreciate it. thanks bro

No prob dude. I just like to see what people can do with the parts they have. I'm a bench racer that uses proof and theory behind my reasoning :D. Anyhow, what you have listed should get you into the mid 13's being that you are running a 14 flat now. Snoozer is about the break into the 12's with the stock head and cam - he will be the first SN-95 I've seen do it. His car is probably 400-500 pounds lighter than yours though, which puts you at a loss. If you want to get into the 12's, you could do several things, however it will probably affect the car's streetability (slightly). 4.10's are the first thing that comes to mind. Another is hardended axles with skinnies and slicks. You could also relocate the battery to the trunk. That would take a great amount of weight off of the nose and help even out your weight transfer. Also, with the longtubes, you know you have to get a short H-pipe right? That wasn't on the list of mods so I just wanted to tell/remind you. If you have an O/R H, you could always take that to an exhaust shop to get cut. My place charges anywhere from $40-$140 depending how much of a PITA it is. Good luck.

That's decent for Moroso. Track use to be awesome, in fact my car ran a 14.4 at 94 MPH bone stock there. Over the years it seems that track gets worse to me. With basically the same mods as you I ran 13.7's at 100 MPH all day with street tires. The key to getting better is keep going. I use to go every Wed and Friday for years. Now if I go once a year that's too much.

my local shop is gonna put in my longtubes(cut my o/r X) and weld in my subframes. the next mod im doing is actually the battery in the trunk but im a little confused, why do i need to have a switch drillled in my trunklid?
