Yes, drag radials & traction devices will obviously help. But it is possible to get good traction on the stock tires if you're on just a halfway descent track... and I realize Speedworld sucks.
I've pulled a 1.86 & 2 1.88 60's on my stock Pirellis. It pulls 1.92's & 1.93's very consistently. My car traps just a tick under 108 mph and it does not break the tires loose bad at all going to 2nd gear.
I'd just find another track... that's a free mod

I also noticed that after the installation of steeda rear LCAs, (tubular ones) the car no longer wheel hops, now it just spins.
