Isn't that typical.

It's very easy to say "I'd be interested in one" and then when the time comes to actually buy it, most tend to reconsider and hang onto their money.

I think the original hype also assumed a 3-500 price tag. At 900 bucks I'd be looking at a second hand super charger or new wheels, or 4K tv. Again, that's me.

Don't get me wrong I love the look but if he were to make something out of fiberglass that were cheaper then I bet more people would be interested but that carbon fiber looks really nice

I'm sure he won't be selling many pieces due to cost, which is unfortunate because of the time and money he's invested. Looks like an awesome piece and I think it looks damn cool on the cars.

Well it is hand laid carbon. I'm hoping that he will eventually come out with fiberglass units that will be easier on the checkbook.

In your drive way,..and about 200 dollars worth of materials, (panel board, hot glue gun, masking tape, 1 gal of fiberglass resin, 2 pkgs of fiberglass cloth) the week end, and me talking you through it.

Otherwise,...900 bucks.

As long as you're up to it,....I'd bet somebody could make one using old school fiberglass techniques that looks everybit as good minus the carbon fiber aesthetics. Made the rear bumper for my 69 mach 1 the way I'm referring to,..and it looked everybit like the Harwood piece when I was done.
PM me and I'll tell you what you gotta do.

Mine ships tomorrow. I'm pumped to get it on. I really think it's going to look awesome on my black car.

At least I'll save $200 with the LX splitter if I were to buy it.
