well, the cars not fixed from the accident yet, between shcool and work i barely had time to sleep, but now that schools over, ive got some time to devote to the car, and since its going in the shop next week i figured it would be a good time to address turbine issue. so i got these:

i still need to decide on a 5-lug conversion, probably going to grab some 94-95 spindles and brakes with ranger axles out back, though i might just go with lincoln rotors up front. dont know yet.

btw, size is 17x9 with 245/45/17's on all four.

dont worry, i am, wheels are being bolted on for probably another month at least, i just got my new fender and cobra insert today too. ive got a 1.5" cowl hood, new bumper cover, bumper support, and impact absorbers coming in hopefully early next week. should look pretty badass by the time its all put together.

If I were you Id think about discs out back. I am doing the SN95 (94-95) swap woth fox length axles, so I can run any wheel tire I want, more or less. Behind those nice wheels you should be seeing some disc brakes. Granted if money is an issue Id say go with the drums out back, and save for some discs... I would steer away from the Lincoln set up, it limits wheels, and will most likely have to be changed later anyway!

im looking at a few sets of 94/95 spindles on ebay right now, so thats probably whats going to happen. eventually ill do a whole cobra brake swap front and rear, but i dont have all the knowledge about brakes atm that i really want to be able to do it, so im going to hold off a bit on the rears.

that's what I did just ran drums. it's definitly a budget way of doing it but I agree if I was to do it again I would go disc

The wheels look great! I'm going the SN95 route at some point myself. I'm looking at a set of wheels now that I really like, but they only come in 18x9. I've always said I'd never go above 17", I might just have to eat my own words.

Do the SN95 stuff up front, that way the front will be taken care of for sure. I done the 94-95 Spindles/hubs and the 99+ brake parts. Got all of the front for roughly $220. If the Lincoln stuff is $60 per side, your only spending $100 more to do it right and have the bigger brakes and better calipers up front.

yeah, goodyears arent really my first choice, but as long as theyre better dry than the noname 215/65/15's that are on the turbines ill be happy. whenever those goodyears die im going to spring for a 275/40 dr on the rear and maybe a 255/45 on the front.

GoodYear makes a "great" tire. But those particular Eagles date back to the 80's!

it wouldnt suprise me at all. personally ive just never really been that impressed with goodyears, the truck had em oe (still has one as a spare, probably need to check the air in that thing, no ones touched it in probably close to 16 years.....)

anyway, im checking out the sn95 conversion a bit more heavily, a friend of a friend wrecked his 95gt a few nights ago, may be getting the front setup from him, dont know yet. will i need caster/camber plates to get it aligned right? car isnt lowered yet and i know ill probably want them then, but dont know if i absolutly need them now or not? may also swap in a 93 cobra m/c while im doing it too i guess, any other little odds and ends besides the balljoint spacers? ive been reading all the 5lug swap guides again lately and i got the majority of it down but theyre a bit fuzzy on switching to just plain ole 95 brakes vs cobra.
