Hey guys new to the boards just picked up my first stang. Its an 89 5.0 lx hatch. It has a few things already done to it.

recent rebuilt trans, recent rebuilt rear with 3.55s, headers, O/R Hpipe, magnaflow mufflers, pony rims, shifter, tokico shocks & struts, eibach springs, UPR UCA & LCA, UPR CC-plates.

once i sell my 4runner i will have some money for cam RR and new intake. Just wanted to say hi and see if anybody has any ideas of things i should do to it.

Auto or manual? I am figuring manual because you said shifter, but there are auto shifters as well. 3.55 is a good conservative all around gear. It seems all togeather you have a pretty good foundation going. Like said before, get some subframes welded in. Don't just do a intake and cam swap, do the heads as well, they are a big bottleneck, the stock cam isn't bad, do the heads before the cam, depending on funds. Don't forget the MAF, Headers, and TB.

Yeah its a manual not sure what type of shifter though it has bbk shorties i believe O/R H and magnaflow with a dump. what kind of heads should i go with i was thinking like gt-p40 heads. But we will see what kind of funds i have in the future.

Well welcome to the V8 world and thanks for not falling victim to the fast and the ***ots scene,LOL. Hey anyway if you search the forums Im sure that you will find lots of opinions on heads, cam choices, as well as intakes. I went the route that I did due to funds myself and I think that for all the added motor parts that I have(I bought all of them used) I think that I spent about 1300 total. On the street I give a LS1 Commaro hell, that is as long as he hasnt moded it much. With the parts that I have and running on radials I turn a 13.5. But like evey one will tell you, have a plan before you start. Have fun and happy gear banging.

Hey LEDGENDARY, How does that B cam work with the 1.7's? I had been thinking about switching to the TFS 1 cam but have read some things about running 1.7's with the stock cam with some really good results. What does that make the lift on the B cam?
