I'm not really worried about the rear, it was just put together with axles and new lsd, now the trans on the other hand, I have a spare t45 I got from a trade in parts a while back as a backup plan. I was debating on upgrading it or a tremic but I will stick with the t45. I think with suspension and more weight reductions then I originaly wanted to do I might hit 11s but as I said before this is only to get me through this training class that lasts from june to late august. I can't get any overtime while in the class, but when I complete the class I get a raise and go back to 48+ hour work weeks. Any suggestions on rear suspension set ups for drag racing I was planning on just lowers but I'm not that big on suspension and have no idea where to start

Well I have changed plans yet again because I sold that motor to another guy and got a set of cobra rods to put in my car. Now I just need a crank and bearings. And put my bottom end back together. My heads are at the machine shop getting checked and getting valve springs and retainers. Hopefully now that I got my plan set now I can try to get this thing back together asap. I also picked up my water pump, relay and under drive crank pully. I also am not going to get new cams unless I can sell the ones I have. I just can't justify having a set of brand new cams and a set that has only 200miles on them sitting around. The logan intake will be on hold until after I get the larger cams and 4.56 gears. All I can say now is if I don't hit 11s I think I will sell it to get a new 5.0.........

Well today the machine shop caleld me and gave me some bad news. Well its actually good news in a bad way. I have a bent vavle and shattered vavle guide in my driverside head. So I will noe be getting ported heads from Nick at Modularheadshop.

I have a question for the racers in here. I was thinking about trickflow heads on my mark bottom end. The compression would be like 11.75.1 though. Is that safe enough for pump gas? I would like to do the trickflows because they will outflow any ported head but I don't want to run race gas.
