I just ordered a zex 75 shot wet kit. I've got a 99 GT with BBK CAI, Professional Products 75mm TB and intake plenum, MAC LT headers, O/R shorty prochamber and magnaflow mufflers. I know I need to get colder plugs. My question is, 1 step colder or 2 steps colder? I've heard people say they like autolite plugs, but I didn't see a part number or anything like that. What should I use?

You can pick up NGK TR6s for under $2 each at any Oreillys or auto store.

It's what I use

FOr your shot you should only need one heat range colder. NGK TR6 is also what I run on a 125 shot. THe autolights are good but tend to wear out quick.

Another good option is the Motorcraft copper plug, 1 heat range down from stock, AGSF-22-C which is now SP-505.

for a 75 shot i wouldnt even touch it really. the stock plugs are going to be just fine for that size shot. but if you ever upgrade in the future to a 100+ then i would consider getting the 2 step colder plugs. I ran my stock plugs using the 100 shot and it was running just fine and when i pulled the plugs to put my 2 step colder plugs in they were still looking perfect so my tune was good and everything. i am running NGKBR7 plugs they are 2 step colder and are tight gap plugs. they actually came gapped to something like .02x so i gapped them up to .035

oh and just a correction here the NGK TR6 plug is a single heat range down not 2

If I get the NGK TR6's, should I gap them at .035?
