nitto 555r tire size question?

I have Saleen 18x9 wheels with Nitto 555 extreme tires on them. I'm looking to replace the rear tires with Nitto 555r drag radial tire. I want the 285/35 zr 18 size and I know it's not reccomended by Nitto to put this tire size on a 9" rim. So, How would this tire size look on a 10" Saleen rim if I was to buy them? Or would it fit fine on a 9" rim. Thanks for any inputs!

It will fit fine on the 9" rim I've seen people do it lot's of times. I wouldn't go much bigger than that though unless you get the 10" rims. But if you get the 10" wheels then I would get 295s.
