As i slowed, the car died, middle of a busy F'n street. Got out, checked the normals. Tried restarting, nothing, she cranks fine, but doesn't even try to start.
Checked the spark at the coil, there isn't one. Disconnected the msd ignition, but still didn't work. I got it pulled back to the house and now she sits.

Could it be the distributor? It was making a funny noise that seemed to be coming from that area before the problem, never got around to correcting the noise.
Any other Ideas?

Guys, listen to the symptoms before mentioning Distributor, he doesnt have spark at the ignition coil, that means the problem lies between the coil and the battery, maybe a solenoid.

Thats my 2 cents.

What I would do:

Check for spark.
Check for injector pulsing.
Check your fuses (under the dash and hood).

If you have injector pulsing but not spark, the PIP is ok. Put a test light across the two electrical wires going to the coil. Crank the car and watch for the test light flashing. If it does, the issue is very likely the coil or your coil wire.
If the test light does not flash, ensure you have 12 volts with the key-on going to the positive coil wire (they're labeled). If so, remove the TFI module and have it tested at the parts store. It likely took a dump.

This testing all takes about 10 mins to do. No biggie.
Good luck.
