noisy gear drive in 4.6?

Hi, I realize I may be asking a really dumb question here, but I don't know much about these newer 4.6 engines, and the overhead cam setup... is a gear drive something that's even possible on these cars? or is there no such thing for overhead cam?

Unfortunatly you cant put a gear drive on the mod motor...

No. You would need a metric ****load of gears to go from the crank to the cam gears. Due to the narrow width of the chain area, I'm thinking it would take at least 8-12 gears per side to reach the cams.

thay's what I kinda thought, but I had to ask... thanks for the help...

I was really looking for the sound more than anything. That and I was hoping to put some sort of performance cams to give it a lope, like an older car would with a performance cam, but I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing to these newer ones, and I'm not really sure why, maybe because it's not possible, or mess with computer, I dunno!?
